About the Role

The Data Insights Manager is responsible for leading a team in transforming data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the use of social listening and media monitoring tools to derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of media investments, sponsorships, and influencer activities using data-driven frameworks.
  • Provide analytics-driven recommendations to support communications, public relations, and advocacy programs.
  • Continuously assess and improve analytics models and tools based on industry best practices and new research.
  • Translate data trends into clear narratives for use by internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive collaboration with internal departments and external research/data partners to strengthen analytics processes and benchmarking.
  • Monitor data signals for emerging issues and contribute to crisis management strategies.
  • Oversee talent development programs, ensuring growth of the analytics team through training and certifications.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports that summarize key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Manage reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as media effectiveness, insight utilization, and team development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a people manager capacity.
  • Strong background in media analytics, audience research, or communications measurement.
  • Experience working with social listening platforms, data visualization tools, and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing external data vendors and cross-functional project teams is preferred.
Essential Skills
  • Strong proficiency in data interpretation, visualization, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with media measurement tools and campaign analytics.
  • Experience with analytics model building and validation.
  • Knowledge of crisis monitoring and response frameworks.
