About the Role

This Legal Research Assistant position involves supporting legal-related tasks and collaborating with the business to drive success.



Key Responsibilities
  • Search for and compile relevant articles, reports, and documentation
  • Organize findings into clear summaries or reports
  • Ensure accuracy, proper sourcing, and adherence to confidentiality standards
  • Support various legal-related tasks as assigned by the business
  • Create and edit simple social media graphics using Canva (or similar tools) when required for awareness or updates
  • Manage WhatsApp communications for legal-related inquiries and internal coordination
  • Update and maintain CRM records related to legal contacts, cases, and documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all communications and tasks


Required Skills
  • Strong online research and data compilation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for record-keeping and task tracking
  • Strong communication skills for handling written and verbal correspondence


Benefits
  • $4 USD/hour for the first 4 weeks
  • $5 USD/hour after the first 4 weeks onwards
