Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

  • You will be responsible for recording and managing daily expenses, including sales entries, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations is also an essential part of this role, as is overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with a focus on AP workloads.
  • Preparing, sending, and following up on invoices will also be a critical responsibility.
  • You will utilize accounting tools, including QuickBooks Online, Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems, such as Aloha, to streamline financial processes and ensure seamless data flow.
  • In addition, you will collaborate closely with clients to provide timely updates and valuable insights into their financial situations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate accounting software will also be your responsibility.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with a focus on AP.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Ramp, MS 365 tools, and POS systems, particularly Aloha, is an advantage.
  • You should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping practices.
  • Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are also necessary to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working graveyard shifts is a plus, but not mandatory.
