Senior Peer Reviewer Opportunity in Clinical Microbiology

This role presents a chance to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in clinical microbiology by providing high-quality peer review services.

We are seeking researchers, retired researchers, or former researchers with expertise in clinical microbiology who can assess manuscripts and provide constructive feedback for publication in academic journals.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in clinical microbiology.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating manuscript novelty, study design, and methodology.
  • Conducting literature reviews and analyzing results and conclusions.
  • Providing constructive feedback and recommending publication decisions.

Suitable candidates will have prior experience as peer reviewers for academic journals and familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
