Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps professional to join our Research & Development team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in expanding our growing R&D operations and contributing to the development of our software platform hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response: Respond to alerts, investigate issues, and identify root causes to ensure the stability and reliability of the environment.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and management.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.
  • Containerization: Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.
  • Cloud Management: Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and implement infrastructure support.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Major cloud service provider operations experience is required.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating consumer offerings is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in SaaS organizations is required.
  • Proven experience with containers, container orchestrations, and CI/CD release pipelines is necessary.
  • Templating and Configuration Languages experience is required.
  • Ability to work rotational weekend shifts is required.
