Automation Engineer Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable and robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, and scripting languages like Java, Groovy, or Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build automation frameworks that ensure high test coverage and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate external tools and align automation practices.
  • Plan and execute automation strategies to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in test automation, with expertise in tools such as Katalon, Selenium, and scripting languages like Java, Groovy, or Python.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
