Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our IT team. As a critical member of this team, you will play a key role in driving innovation in cybersecurity, software development, and big data technology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality ODM rules based on project requirements.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
  • Take on user stories to develop rules that align with project specifications.
  • Work with external teams to integrate solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application issues ensuring optimal performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all development activities.
  • Follow SDLC process and participate in Agile and Scrum meetings.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in information systems technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java development and Spring.
  • At least 5 years of experience with REST services.
  • At least 5 years of experience with IBM ODM tools or rule engine system background such as Drools.
  • Extensive experience using IBM WebSphere Liberty.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a complex environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or technical certificate in computer science.
  • Strong background in security best practices.
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • The ability to facilitate, negotiate, and work within a multi-domain team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaborations.
