Key Responsibilities

A Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor is accountable for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring sales targets are met, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This includes managing multiple tasks effectively, leading a team of employees, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of retail merchandising principles. Proficiency in sales growth strategies, employee management, and visual merchandising techniques is also essential.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage day-to-day store operations to optimize sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Set up and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays and gondolas to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including arranging merchandise in product-selling areas and greeting customers with a smile.
  • Recruit, select, train, coach, and discipline employees as needed, while monitoring and appraising job responsibilities.
  • Provide constructive guidance to the team on effective store operations and ensure a safe and clean work environment for employees and customers.
  • Complete and report sales data, new staff hiring, assignments, and other relevant information to HQ and superiors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the retail industry with expertise in sales, general retail, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with local market conditions and consumer behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in sales or retail management.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to employment and business operations.
