Job Description

Labor Scheduling Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Labor Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Scheduling department, ensuring accurate and cost-effective scheduling of employees across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review rosters to meet labor requirements and operational demands.
  • Generate and analyze reports as requested by senior management, payroll, and other business units.
  • Provide Time Manager training and conduct Virtual Roster Module UAT testing as needed.
  • Respond to rostering and payroll queries and disputes efficiently.
  • File and submit payroll disputes in VR to Payroll and IT Systems.
  • Review and approve roster tagging and Time and Attendance approvals before payroll cut-off.
  • Collaborate with managers and the Financial Analysis & Planning team on demand-based schedules.
  • Update and maintain policies and procedures related to scheduling.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of software packages used for rostering and scheduling.
  • Support the performance management of officers and attendants.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in scheduling or workforce management.
  • Senior-level customer service and administrative experience.
  • Prior knowledge of Virtual Roster software is an advantage.
