Job Title: Credit Risk Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough credit analyses of mortgage applications to assess potential risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate financial data, credit reports, and risk factors to provide recommendations that support informed lending decisions.
  • Collaborate with lenders and other stakeholders to facilitate the approval process and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Australian lending laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of the role.
  • Prepare accurate and informative reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in lending criteria to continuously improve credit analysis skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a credit analyst in the Australian mortgage industry is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools is also required, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
