We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join our team at Ripped Box Station. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in managing and optimizing our online presence.
Job SummaryThis is a remote position requiring 20 hours of work per week. You will be working closely with our marketing team to create and implement strategies that drive engagement and growth across various digital platforms.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage and optimize Google My Business profiles by regularly updating business information, photos, and offers, while securing organized business directory listings to enhance local search visibility.
- Create, schedule, and manage posts on Facebook and LinkedIn to boost engagement and grow the audience, while monitoring interactions and assisting with paid ad campaigns, ensuring targeted reach and performance tracking.
- Assist in creating and managing MailChimp email marketing campaigns, including list management, scheduling, performance reporting, and designing detailed email templates and newsletters.
- Provide general virtual assistant tasks such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, providing administrative support, handling client communication, conducting research for marketing initiatives, and preparing reports and presentations on marketing performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging platforms to keep our marketing strategies current.
- Proven work experience as a Virtual Assistant with a focus on marketing support.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Google My Business profiles.
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical, and data analysis methods.
- Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms for business purposes.
- Experience in using MailChimp or other email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management software (e.g. Asana, Trello) is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision.
- An estimated salary of $35,000 per annum.
