Position: SEO SpecialistNumber of hours: __ hours/weekSchedule: PSTTasks required:Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankingsResearch SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materialsPinpoint effective keyword strategies and assist in crafting web copy to maximize the usage of these wordsSet measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing effortsMonitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performanceEfficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goalsCollaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategyInitiate effective backlinking campaigns and enhance reviewsWrite compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptionsExplore competitors’ SEO strategies and implement new techniques gainedUpdate content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankingsPerform other duties as assigned by manager or directorRequirements:Proven experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaignsUnderstanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methodsExperience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe AnalyticsKnowledge of keyword research and data mining toolsExpertise with WordPress and other content management systemsRobust backend development knowledge capable of optimizing indexing, schemas, and utilizing metadataAble to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industryExcellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basisExperience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotionAbility to multi-task and handle other duties as assigned
