Purchaser/Procurement

Key Responsibilities:- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and terms to secure advantageous contracts.- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and align with budgetary constraints.- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding procurement practices.- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.- Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, including discrepancies and returns.- Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and seek opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.- 1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
