About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, and maintaining high-quality software product applications.

  • Develop and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Analyze user needs and determine technical requirements.
  • Design and develop high-quality code using Java web development technologies.
  • Test, debug, analyze, and fix application problems/issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Follow the software development life cycle process.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in software development, including design and development.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java web development.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Angular, and Oracle technologies.
  • Experience working in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development life cycle.
  • The ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of required programming languages.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
