Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

Our finance team plays a vital role in driving business growth by ensuring accurate financial planning and analysis.

Job Description
  • Prepare daily journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments to maintain a clean general ledger.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist with FP&A inquiries, providing timely and insightful financial information to support business decisions.
  • Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
  • Consolidate documents, including invoices/payment proof/bank statement, to facilitate easy access to financial information.
  • Support system integration, process improvement, and reporting structure alignment to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent field. A CPA title and US GAAP familiarity are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an accounting professional, preferably with external and/or internal audit, or accounting firm background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to comprehend legal agreements between Podean and external entities.
  • Experience using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Capacity to reconcile external documentation and company records.
  • Ability to make necessary adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliation.
  • Understanding of essential financial statements, including profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
