Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with site personnel and/or clients during artwork development and pre-press execution.
  • Attend meetings related to production, when feasible, at the request of site personnel or clients.
  • Respond promptly to clients' requests.
  • Establish a good working relationship with clients and vendors.
  • Communicate artwork issues with stakeholders.
  • Respond timely to client/site personnel/sales requests and other stakeholders.
  • Document critical information that may impact quality.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and production meetings to enhance business outcomes.
  • Verify technical data for supplied art.
  • Manage project timelines effectively.
  • Communicate received and shipped art to site personnel/sales and perform user functionality in a client database used for tracking artwork projects.
  • Understand clients' processes (deliverables, rework).
  • Communicate issues to management.
  • Ensure order completeness and conciseness before delivery to production.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college education is preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience are preferred.
  • Previous experience as a customer service representative in the print industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with design, print, or production art is essential.
  • Strong comprehension of work instructions and business memos is necessary.
  • Proofreading skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently after initial training is important.
