About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and disbursement transactions. You will be responsible for safeguarding the bank from potential losses by reviewing and approving daily documents to support payables transactions.

We are seeking an individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team as a Junior Accounts Payable/Expense Officer. In this role, you will ensure that all disbursement transactions comply with existing Bank's policies and procedures and service level agreements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the bank from potential losses by ensuring timely review and accurate processing of payments to suppliers, merchants, Mastercard International, SBC Stockholders, and reimbursements arising from fraud and scam cases.
  • Review and approve daily documents to support payables transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation/reconciliation and submission of selected GL and P&L Accounts.
  • Perform process review and improvement through updating of manuals of procedures, policies, and Service Level Agreements.
  • Adhere to internal and external reporting requirements required by internal and external auditors, and Risk-related reports/requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to queries of Internal and External Customers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and the bank's policies and procedures in processing payables to mitigate risks.
