We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and support the investment process. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and communication. You will be responsible for analyzing startup databases and financial metrics to identify early-stage investment opportunities, tracking industry trends and deal activity, and supporting research efforts for new markets, sectors, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze startup databases and financial metrics to uncover early-stage investment opportunities.
  • Track industry trends, deal activity, and portfolio performance.
  • Support research efforts for new markets, sectors, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
  • Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is strongly preferred; a demonstrated interest is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • SQL for querying structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Able to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time).
