Cybersecurity Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Compliance Expert to lead our efforts in developing and implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF. Key responsibilities include analysis and interpretation of cybersecurity regulatory requirements for company compliance, development of cybersecurity-focused compliance policies and procedures, collaboration with external teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, communication with clients via text, email, and phone to address cybersecurity compliance concerns and provide support, management and coordination of multiple cybersecurity compliance projects ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards, leadership and mentorship of a small team to effectively deliver on compliance objectives.
Key Requirements:- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cybersecurity compliance projects concurrently.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing or guiding a small team.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven ability to work directly with clients in the US.
- Experience working in cybersecurity compliance including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF frameworks.
- Familiarity with creating and enforcing cybersecurity policies.
- Experience working in a tech company with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
Amenability to work US Eastern Time zone hours is also required. Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary for success in this role.
