Job Title: Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst- APAC

Job Description:

Kobalt.io is looking for a skilled and experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Compliance Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for tailoring cybersecurity protocols to support clients' security journeys. You will work closely with our security delivery team to execute risk assessments and projects within a security program.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance on security education and implement best practices in technologies and standardize deployment. You will also be responsible for identifying system misconfigurations and providing recommendations for improvement.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will be required to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You should have a solid understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations and Information Risk Management.

You will be working closely with our clients to understand their operations and tailor security policies and procedures to meet their specific needs. You will also be responsible for designing and deploying phishing tests for clients regularly and providing compliance audit readiness support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Security Technologies, Information Security, Business Resilience, or related fields
  • External-facing client experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal audiences
  • Understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations and Information Risk Management
  • Strong communication skills, including summarization and commonality detection
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt security best practices
