Compliance Officer - Cybersecurity

A seasoned and meticulous Cybersecurity & Compliance Manager is required to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience working with leading cybersecurity compliance frameworks and possess exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple cybersecurity compliance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers and analysts across various accounts, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive staffing strategies for the department.
  • Address executive-level client concerns and escalate issues professionally.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client communications and quality metrics to ensure high standards.
  • Design and maintain robust cybersecurity-focused compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external teams to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity risks.
  • Analyze and interpret complex cybersecurity regulations to ensure seamless compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HiTRUST, NIST 800-171/CMMC.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Proven experience in creating and enforcing cybersecurity policies.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in managing mid-sized teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in the US Eastern Time zone hours.
