IC Associate Director (EMEA Shift)

Job Description
  • The Clearance and Settlement Testing team is responsible for the end-to-end processing of clearance and settlement activities across various platforms, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of global financial markets.
  • The team leads cross-functional initiatives such as project management, workflow enhancements, and operational risk review across business lines.
  • The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team possesses in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and quality control approaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Experience in API automation
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with agile management tools including ALM JIRA & Selenium
  • Must be amenable to work US/EMEA hours
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of Business Operations to support testing for products being delivered
  • Providing testing expertise to drive preparation and execution of User Acceptance testing UAT planning and execution activities
  • Tracking test execution achievements reporting on issues and risks with potential to affect project timelines
  • Logging defects and collaborating with development for quick resolution
  • Maintaining UAT metrics and reviewing with business leads SMEs and collaborators
  • Collaborating with internal collaborators holding yourself and others accountable for successful project execution and measurable high-quality timely results
  • Making well-informed effective and timely decisions perceiving impact and implications of those decisions as it relates to active project
  • Articulating and presenting complex or technical information clearly effectively to collaborators and/or non-technical colleagues in both small and large group settings
  • Demonstrating technical expertise to develop and implement a testing automation approach
  • Conducting training sessions for teams to ensure comprehension and implementation of established processes
  • Reviewing functional specifications/user stories for testable requirements and developing test cases
  • Maintaining and updating process documentation to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards
  • Mitigating risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
