Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Security Assurance will lead strategic security initiatives, drive compliance with industry benchmarks and frameworks, and ensure data integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive security programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Oversee external audits, collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation, and facilitate effective remediation strategies.
  • Assess and identify gaps in security controls, develop strategies for improvement, and implement evidence-based solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and contribute to the development of the organization's overall security strategy.
  • Establish and maintain robust security standards, policies, and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives and industry expectations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to assess the organization's security posture and its assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent security practices and optimize security outcomes.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security assurance and compliance (HIPAA experience highly preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading external audit engagements, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
