Crypto Quality Assurance Engineer Position

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the cryptocurrency space? Do you have experience in software testing and a strong understanding of web applications and APIs? Astra Dao is seeking a dedicated Crypto QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including creating and implementing test plans and cases, to ensure the reliability and security of our products.
  • Automate testing workflows using tools like Cypress and GitHub Actions to integrate processes into our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design and execute tests for APIs to ensure they meet performance and security standards.
  • Conduct security assessments and performance testing of our SaaS products to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand the architecture of our applications and ensure seamless integration.

Apart from these core responsibilities, we are looking for someone who can engage with the crypto community to gather feedback and insights, use user-friendly tools like Maze and Lookback for usability testing, and implement feature flagging and A/B testing to manage feature releases and conduct experiments.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer, preferably within the SaaS or crypto space, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs.
  • Deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape and active involvement in the crypto community.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
