Seeking a seasoned Commercial Development Strategist to lead our commercial property portfolio leasing efforts.

About this Role

This full-time position involves developing and executing creative leasing strategies, identifying new tenants that align with our merchandising strategy and target demographics, and negotiating lease terms.

Main Responsibilities
  • Commercial Development & Sales:
    • Conduct market research to identify retail trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
    • Analyze data related to existing tenant performance, mall size, demographics, and competitive communities.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective tenants.
    • Develop leasing strategies and packages to attract high-quality tenants.
  • Lease Management & Negotiation:
    • Manage the entire leasing cycle from initial inquiry to lease execution.
    • Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, escalation clauses, fit-out periods, and other commercial aspects.
    • Work closely with legal counsel to ensure all lease agreements are legally sound.
  • Tenant Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:
    • Contribute to the development of our leasing plan and annual budget.
    • Prepare regular leasing reports and progress updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail leasing, real estate, or business development.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and occupancy targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, sales, and presentation skills.
