Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

A highly skilled and dynamic financial operations specialist is required to support the growth of businesses in the retail industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining transaction processing, and supporting key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools like Bill.com.

Experience in retail bookkeeping is highly preferred, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting support, including inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration.
  • Assist with the financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing.
  • Utilize Bill.com to process and manage vendor payments efficiently and support payroll administration in coordination with internal systems and external providers.
  • Assist with reporting and financial analysis tasks, including generating financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and identifying trends for cost optimization or revenue improvement.
  • Collaborate with the CFO team to support forecasting and budgeting efforts.
