Job Summary

The Nurse/Occupational Safety Officer plays a vital role in safeguarding employee health, safety, and well-being while ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Occupational Health: Provide immediate medical assistance, first aid, and basic healthcare to employees. Conduct pre-employment, annual, and special medical examinations. Monitor employee health conditions and maintain updated medical records, adhering to the Data Privacy Act guidelines.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE/OSH): Identify hazards and conduct regular risk assessments. Develop and implement OSH programs and policies. Organize safety trainings, emergency drills, and awareness sessions for employees. Ensure adherence to DOLE and OSH standards through audits and inspections.
  • Data Privacy: Comply with the Data Privacy Act when handling employee health information. Conduct privacy awareness sessions for staff regarding health data protection. Maintain proper documentation and secure storage of employee medical and health records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse with valid PRC license)
  • Desirable: Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for Nurses) or equivalent training
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in occupational health and workplace safety
  • Knowledge of DOLE-OSH standards and the Data Privacy Act of 2012
  • Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism

Additional Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent interpersonal skills.
