Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Telecommunications Design Engineer to join our team. This is a mid-senior level, full-time position that involves designing technology systems for clients.

  • Develop detailed design documents, including drawings and specifications for systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Review construction documents for quality and coordination.
  • Oversee construction phases and conduct periodic site visits to ensure contractors adhere to design intent, specifications, quality, and objectives.
  • Lead project meetings; establish meeting agendas; document meeting minutes, maintain action items, and issue logs while supporting the overall project schedule.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Lead Designer, with a proven track record of leading design meetings, developing telecom system designs, writing specifications, creating bills of materials, reviewing submittals and test reports, and providing construction administration support.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 (or higher) environment.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote) and AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, etc.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Maintaining relationships with clients and serving as one of the clients' primary points of contact.
  • Defining clear communication channels and providing regular project updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, or delays.
  • Serving as the Senior Consultant, guiding clients through the early programming and visioning stages to establish clear project goals and expectations.
