Key Account Collections Specialist

Secure revenue generated by sales teams, build strong relationships with business customers, and foster a connection to drive ongoing interactions.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, independently, resourcefully, and collaboratively. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, negotiating payment terms, and developing customer relationships.

You will also be involved in resolving billing issues, contacting customers via phone or email, and working closely with the sales team to identify solutions.

  • Contact customers to discuss outstanding invoices and negotiate payment terms.
  • Manage a collections portfolio and develop strategies to maximize payment recovery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive ongoing interactions.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT sales environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. This role involves reconciling accounts regularly, documenting collections activity, and managing individual and department monthly receivable targets.

Requirements
  • Completed college diploma in Accounting or Finance or related experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in corporate collections, focusing on medium to enterprise-level customers.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable escalation processes and taking initiative to resolve account issues.
  • Good understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
