Remote CAM Input/Detailer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAM input/detailer to join our team. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality CAM files from Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM or VDC with an emphasis on HVAC or Mechanical. Proficiency in Revit is required, and proficiency in Autodesk products (ESTmep, CADmep, CAMduct) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter assigned quotes and orders into CAMduct and Epicor
  • Create CAM files from Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
  • Annotate drawings in Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
  • Complete, accurate, and on-time processing of assigned work
  • Ensure duct construction methods meet customer specifications and industry standards
  • Identify incomplete information and verify with the customer
  • Communicate with customers through phone, email, and support desk software
  • Communicate with internal teams
  • Maintain status of tickets in Freshdesk
  • Perform essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description.
Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM or VDC with an emphasis on HVAC or Mechanical
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products (ESTmep, CADmep, CAMduct)

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner and awareness when to engage supervisor if necessary
  • Work collaboratively and demonstrate commitment to get the job done
  • Self-motivate to do what needs to be done
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
