Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent accounting skills, experience working with financial software, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all types of accounting work as required for clients, including BAS, IAS, FBT, FTC, DIV7A, Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships, TPAR, Payroll Tax, Payroll - Full scope of wages, Group Certificates, Superannuation compliance, and other tasks as directed.
  • Manage and review other Accountants and their workload at a higher level, ensuring it is in line with Australian accounting standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Intermediate to Advanced Xero software skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead a small team and review work from other staff.
