Job Title: Cash Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Cash Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash accounts, ensure accurate postings, and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Work with accounting teams to clear cash in transit accounts.
  • Establish correct mapping rules with Treasury.
  • Review and clear aged unallocated items on bank clearing accounts.
  • Audit cash pool statements for month-end close.
  • Book necessary adjustments to reconcile bank GLs.
  • Process bank transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Allocate outgoing payments and non-customer receipts daily.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley team with walkthroughs and control testing.
  • Assist with external and internal audits.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail is crucial for accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • Proactive approach to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in English.

Education and Experience:

  • University or College Degree in Finance field.
  • Experience in high-volume intercompany or Accounts Payable environment.
  • 1-3 years experience in a large-scale organization beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of ERPs (E1 or SAP) desired but not essential.
