The Investment Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Credit Processes and Reporting for use by Senior Management, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Risk requirements of General Account Credit Asia. The analyst will support the front office business unit and serve as the middle office contact for related issues. The role involves processing, monitoring, analysis, reconciliation, investigation of data, understanding risk factors and reporting rules, and assisting in developing new processes within the GA Middle Office Asia Team in MBPS.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processing Credit Processes, including updating requests in the Full General Account ("Full GA") database and archiving data appropriately.
  • Communicating Weekly and Monthly Rating Changes and Early Credit Warning Indicators.
  • Assisting in preparing reports such as Weekly Credit Utilization, Monthly Exposure Summary, Malaysia Credit Log, Capital, and Legal structure.
  • Performing audit and adhoc tasks as required.
  • Developing and improving databases and reporting tools for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supporting the upcoming system replacements and system maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services or shared services environment.
  • Understanding of production environments and reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and willingness to learn PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VBA, PowerBI, MS Access, SQL.
