Job Title: Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Financial Data Analyst.

This role involves supporting the tax team by accurately entering financial data into preparation software, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Schedule C and Schedule E, as well as proficiency in tools such as Lacerte and Excel.

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Screening and reviewing client-provided tax documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Entering and reviewing financial data into preparation software with attention to detail.
  • Preparing and supporting the filing of federal and state tax returns, including Schedule C and Schedule E.
  • Organizing and verifying supporting documentation for client returns.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Meeting established deadlines and collaborating with the team to ensure timely delivery of returns.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of tax preparation experience.
  • Experience with Lacerte, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in screening and data entry.
  • Maintains integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data.
  • Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills.
