Job Title: Medical Information Specialist

About the Role

The Medical Information Specialist will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, and other external stakeholders.

This role involves responding to unsolicited requests for medical information, providing labeled and unlabeled responses in accordance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responds to inquiries from various sources, including phone, email, letter, fax, and scientific meetings.
  • Provides accurate and compliant medical information responses using approved labeling and company standard responses.
  • Identifies, documents, and reports adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintains quality in all areas of the job, including performing quality checks on adverse events, product quality complaints, correspondence, and enquiries logged into the Inquiry Handling Systems.
  • Provides after-hours coverage on a rotated basis subject to business requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A life science degree or Nursing degree (RN/BS/BA/MS) or Pharmacy degree.
