Risk Management Professional

Job Description

The Risk Management Professional plays a crucial role in providing day-to-day risk support across the Enterprise Risk Management framework. This includes risk assessment, risk aggregation, and risk reporting activities. The role partners with HR, Legal, and Compliance to ensure adherence with all applicable employment and privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sustainable GDPR Compliance Program for HR.
  • Provide ongoing risk activities support as a single point of contact for HRBP aligned teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments of new or changing intent, such as compensation strategies and expansion into new markets, in partnership with HR.
  • Review and update regulatory applicability with HR, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Identify and document HR controls unique to HR in the Risk Management system of record.
  • Ensure adherence to ERM standards and expectations through support for HR Issues & Events.
  • Support the documentation of HR Policies, Standards & Procedures in accordance with Corporate Policy Office expectations and maintain them in Wdesk.
  • Audit and examine related audits where there is an intersection with HR, partnering with HR as necessary.
  • Determine interaction models across Lines of Defense in partnership with ERM and ORM.
  • Assess regulatory changes impacting employment and privacy laws, documenting implementation plans as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a solid understanding of the risk management framework and techniques. The successful candidate will have 8+ years combined audit or risk management experience, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, and solid understanding of legal processes to perform daily compliance activities.
