Software Developer Role

This position involves working with an agile team to analyze business needs and propose/implement software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and building new Java cloud solutions (APIs and microservices) using modern Java deployment concepts such as serverless functions and containerized applications.

The successful candidate will apply DevOps concepts including CI/CD and rapid-but-robust deployments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer requirements.

In this role, you will work with a range of technologies including SQL databases, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues to implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and ensure good communication skills are used throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build new Java cloud solutions (APIs and microservices).
  • Use modern Java deployment concepts for the cloud (serverless functions and containerized applications).
  • Apply DevOps concepts (CI/CD and rapid-but-robust deployments).
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of web development experience, including 3+ years of recent experience in Java.
  • Experience with Kotlin.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with Spring Boot.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Git + GitHub / Bitbucket.
  • Test Driven Development.
  • Good English communication skills.
