Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design and implement database solutions that meet customer needs.

About The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to scope and fulfill data-related requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of database design principles, SQL scripting, and cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS PostgreSQL and MariaDB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and MariaDB in AWS RDS environments
  • Write complex SQL queries and analyze performance to optimize database operations
  • Support multi-tenant environments using schema-per-customer models and collaborate with product managers to scope and fulfill data-related needs
  • Participate in production troubleshooting and scheduled after-hours support rotations when needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB in AWS RDS environments
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance
  • Familiarity with Java-based ORMs and their impact on schema design
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant environments, ideally using schema-per-customer models
