Job Title: Inpatient Trainer

Overview:

As a highly skilled medical coding trainer, you will play a critical role in shaping the knowledge and skills of new and existing medical coders. You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that cater to the evolving needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality medical coding education programs that adhere to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding systems, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Create engaging and interactive training materials, such as presentation slides, handouts, and online modules.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure trainees meet established competency standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver customized training programs for specific client needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees through workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Medical or Allied Health field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in medical coding software and electronic health records.
  • Proven expertise in teaching, training, and facilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
