Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can analyze complex data and transform it into actionable insights.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in analytics, with the ability to use Python and SQL to uncover patterns and trends in large datasets.

They will also be responsible for building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large and complex datasets using Python and SQL to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative units to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
  • Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all analytical outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Google Advanced Data Analytics, DataCamp) are a strong plus.
