Healthcare Content Specialist Opportunity

Overview:

The selected individual will be responsible for creating high-quality content to communicate complex medical and scientific information to various audiences.

This role requires a strong background in science or healthcare combined with excellent writing skills to develop compelling content for branded campaigns, patient education materials, and medical slide decks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and concise copy from complex medical/scientific concepts
  • Create engaging content for websites, branded campaign assets, and patient education materials
  • Drive the editorial process to ensure accuracy and quality of all contents
  • Collaborate with design, strategy, account, and project management teams
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and compliant
  • Stay updated on current trends in medical education and pharma industry developments

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or PhD in any science or medical field
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in medical writing, including creating content for clinical trials, doctors, healthcare, and the public
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure all content is on-brand and compliant
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharma agency work experience
  • Knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Experience with Veeva/PromoMats
