Medical Content Writer Position

We are seeking a skilled Medical Content Writer to develop accurate and engaging medical communications for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create scientifically sound content for various channels, including clinical trials, doctors, healthcare, and public platforms.
  • Transform complex medical concepts into clear, concise copy that resonates with our target audience.
  • Design medical slide decks, websites, branded campaign assets, and patient education materials that meet our high standards.
  • Drive the editorial process from initial draft to final proof, ensuring accuracy and quality of all content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, strategy, account management, and project management.
  • E nsure all content is on-brand and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • P articipate in scientific meetings, advisory boards, and client meetings to stay informed and aligned with industry developments.
  • Contribute research and content to proposals and pitch presentations to support business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends in medical education and pharma industry advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Preferably holding a Bachelor's Degree or PhD in any science or medical field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of medical writing experience, with a focus on creating medical or scientific content for clinical trials, doctors, healthcare, and the public.
  • Pharma agency experience is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of Veeva/PromoMats is advantageous (but not essential).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure all content is on-brand and compliant.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with adaptability and openness to learning.
  • Amenable to remote work arrangements and dayshift schedules (7 AM to 4 PM).
