Job Overview:

We seek a Shopper Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of In-Store Marketing activation programs and new product Go-to-Market plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through shopper marketing initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Business Sufficiency plans to achieve Budget/MLE targets by leading the team in creating innovative retail environments and collaborating with customers.
  • Create shopper marketing programs based on consumer insights, focusing on Retail Environment Innovation and Customer Collaboration.
  • Support the implementation of category activity grids and new product Go-to-Market plans developed by Consumer Marketing.
  • Design presentations and tools (5P's communication tools, trade selling stories, New Product activation programs) for the Customer Development Team to execute the plans.
  • Contribute to the creation of tools, merchandising materials, and in-store programs for effective shelf management and shopper engagement.
  • Lead the co-creation of customer amplification plans with Local teams.
  • Analyze pre and post ROI of national promotions.
  • Conduct regular trade visits to communicate findings by subcategory & brand for key customers.
Financial Accountabilities:
  • Support achievement of Category & Brand Market Share, 5 point KPI for the category.
  • Assist in promotional budget management.
  • Manage D&P budget for the category.
  • Follow guidelines regarding SKU simplification.
Budgeting & Colgate Business Planning (CBP):
  • Prepare analysis for input to the budgeting process regarding promotion budget & Consumer Gross-to-Net spending for the sub-category.
  • Participate in monthly discipline for the sub-category, based on CBP commercial process.
Shopper Capability:
  • Champion and extend shopper capability across commercial teams.
