We are seeking highly skilled professionals with expertise in Go software development to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for talented engineers who can design, implement, and maintain high-quality Go software on Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop well-structured and efficient Go software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering practices
  • Develop and deploy scalable and secure software solutions using Go and Linux
  • Contribute to the success of your product through technical leadership and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
  • Well-organized, self-starting and able to deliver to schedule
  • Professional manner interacting with colleagues, partners, and community
  • Experience designing and writing high-quality Go software on Linux
  • Experience with and passion for Linux at the system level
  • For more senior roles, experience building, deploying, and operating distributed systems and APIs
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
  • Passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
  • Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks each

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience developing for Ubuntu Linux
  • Experience with Juju, LXD, Microk8s, Snapd, Ubuntu Core, Ubuntu Pro
  • Performance engineering and security experience
