Senior Category Manager Role Overview

This is a senior-level role that oversees daily category management and drives growth through strategic planning, merchant support, and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in relevant categories with strong networking to brands and big merchants; prior experience in team management; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily management of category account managers and operations.
  • Assist the category leader to define and execute business development opportunities and category growth strategies.
  • Identify and conduct category data analysis, gap analysis, and solutioning.
  • Drive relevant category special projects and improve sellers/buyers' experiences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above, ideally in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant categories with strong networking to brands and big merchants.
  • Prior experience in team management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
