Job Description:

  • Responsibilities
  • Review email and attachments to ensure daily transactions are up-to-date.
  • Verify daily transaction records between the monitoring sheet and ERP records to guarantee all transactions match.
  • Confirm cash monitoring with daily transactions.
  • Classify reimbursement invoices as VAT or non-VAT and determine the account to use for ERP entry.
    • B. Enter AP transactions into ERP
      • Check email for sub-contractor transactions.
      • Examine attached invoices.
      • Determine whether transactions are material or service-based, and identify applicable tax.
      • Tabulate invoicing to tally with cash monitoring, typically in bulk.
      • For services with deductions and refunds, ensure proper setup and payment.
      • Check ERP supplier records; for materials, contact logistics and CEG to resolve discrepancies.
        • C. Enter GA/HR/Sales transactions into ERP
          • Verify attachment of payroll and government remittances for proper allocation.
          • Classify costs for each cost center and department, understanding corresponding cash flow due to varying payroll amounts.
          • Assign direct and indirect costs with benefits.
          • Identify assigned condominiums for staff and projects or general ledger; coordinate with admin periodically.
            • D. Liquidate advances
              • Verify monitoring and email to ensure matching figures.
              • Summarize liquidation using hard copy or soft copy, checking all attachments.
              • Encode invoices into an Excel summary for each staff member, categorizing accounts and checking VAT.
              • Enter liquidation into ERP.
              • Reconcile as necessary.
              • Ensure accurate recording of all transactions in the general ledger.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, General Accounting, and Taxation, or a related field.
  • Preferably supervisor experience with 5+ years in finance - audit/taxation or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Able to work independently and possess strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Computer literacy.
