Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer Role

This role is part of the Infrastructure Security Team within Product Security, collaborating across departments to build secure cloud infrastructure components supporting customers' objectives from day one. Initial focus is on building, securing, and maintaining non-product infrastructure like internal tooling and sandbox environments.

Responsibilities
  • Own initiatives for non-product infrastructure and deliverables
  • Enhance infrastructure security processes and tooling
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop secure solutions for infrastructure needs
  • Identify and remediate security issues, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities related to cloud, container, and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Implement tools enhancing environment awareness and accelerating threat detection
  • Create paved paths enabling engineers to accelerate secure delivery of work
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for architecture reviews and provide security guidance for new projects
Requirements
  • Experience with public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Development experience with Go, Python, Ruby
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tool expertise (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems, containers, and orchestration platforms
  • Interest in Information Security
  • Demonstrated collaborative working experience with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication skills through text-based mediums
