Job Title: Cloud Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our engineering team in designing, building, and operating modern distributed systems on private infrastructure for customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist with a passion for Linux and cloud technologies to build a career and drive success with Ubuntu and open source products.

The BootStack team focuses on delivering high-quality managed services to customers around the globe. As a Cloud Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing engineers who oversee day-to-day operations, including customer service management, managed services operations, and consistent product improvement engineering.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that teams operate efficiently, effectively, and consistently meet service level agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a growing engineering team to optimize development velocity and operations quality
  • Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes
  • Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams
  • Ensure proper focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
  • Work to meet service level agreements with global customer deployments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field
  • Proven track record of experience in software delivery and/or managing operations teams
  • Experience with OpenStack and Linux system administration
  • Demonstrated commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Experience working in and managing distributed teams
