Cloud Systems Architect

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS, and be proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated pipelines, integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery, managing and supporting Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility, and implementing Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions.

Additional responsibilities include automating tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, supporting developers with release issues, building automated release frameworks, and integrating test automation into CI/CD processes.

Security best practices must be applied to protect infrastructure, and the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance, IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting.

Excellent communication skills, a curious and eager to learn mindset, proactive and collaborative attitude, and ability to work well in a remote environment and drive for results are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications include 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing and IT infrastructure, ability to design and manage complex cloud environments, and certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
