Job Overview

The Senior Billing and Accounts Receivable Professional plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing and accounts receivable process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and review invoices for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
  2. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and manage the collection process to ensure timely receipt of payments.
  3. Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and address any billing issues promptly.
  4. Develop and implement effective strategies for improving the billing and collection process.
  5. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  6. Prepare and analyze financial reports related to billing and accounts receivable.
  7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
  8. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
